Tonight was one of those magical Portland nights. As a birthday present and celebration of my husband's official sabbatical kick-off, we purchased tickets to the patron reception for FundFest 2008 at the Crystal Ballroom. We walked downtown and enjoyed lovely pink martini cocktails while Thomas Lauderdale (of Pink Martini) performed Gershwin’s Rhapsody In Blue. I was blown away. What an amazing piece of music.
